Peter N. Carroll, ALBA’s chair emeritus, will give the annual Len Crome lecture organized by our British friends of the International Brigade Memorial Trust this coming Saturday, March 3, at 2:30pm, at London’s Imperial War Museum. Peter will speak on ““The Spanish Civil War in the 21st Century:  From Guernica to Human Rights.” He will be introduced by Professor Paul Preston of the London School of Economics. Now in its 11th year, the IBMT’s lecture series is named after Len Crome (1909-2001), who was working as a GP in Lancashire when he volunteered to go to Spain, where he became chief medical officer of the International Brigades.
