Sebastiaan Faber, Deborah Cohn, Kirsten Weld, and Bill Mullen.

The first in a series of online roundtable gatherings about the challenges and opportunities of teaching antifascist history today took place on April 16, focusing on the situation in American higher education. For 90 minutes, Kirsten Weld (Harvard), Bill Mullen (Purdue), and Deborah Cohn (Indiana Bloomington) discussed questions raised by ALBA’s moderator, Sebastiaan Faber, and some 80 audience members. A video recording of the entire event is available on ALBA’s YouTube channel. The next online roundtable in the series, scheduled for early fall, will address challenges and opportunities in K-12 education. The series is made possible by the Peter N. Carroll’s Anti-Fascist Education Fund.
