IB commemorations in Madrid

This year’s homage to the International Brigades will be part of the commemoration of the 76th anniversary of the defense of Madrid. This is the program:
November 7th. Meeting at the Ateneo de Madrid, at 19:30, to commemorate the De fence of Madrid.
November 8th. Launch of the book and the map (attached in low resolution) “Places of the International Brigades in Madrid” by Ken O’Keefe. At the Caum with Victor Grossman and the brigadista David Lomon. 19:30
November 9th. Tour explaining the march of the XI IB on November the 8th 1936, from the Atocha rail station to the University City. Conducted by Vicente González, vice president AABI. The tour will start at 10:30 at the cross of the Cuesta de Moyano with the Paseo del Prado.
November 10th. 12:00 tribute ceremony at the monument of the IB at the University City. Involved, among others, Victor Grossman and David Lomon.
Previously, for those interested, there will be an explaining tour from the Moncloa to the monument of the IB. It will begin at 10:45 in front of the District Board of La Moncloa, going through the Museum of America, the field at the rear of the Clinic Hospital and the Faculty of Medecine.
We can inform you that the 6th Jarama march will take place on February the 16th, Saturday. We’ll let you know later the details of those events.
