Matti Mattson to appear on PBS
The late Matti Mattson is interviewed by Tukufu Zuberi in the Tuesday, June 28 episode of PBS' "History Detectives."

Ilona Mattson described her father as a vigorous and youthful man who went to the gym twice a week up until those few months before he died. Also with him into his nineties was his lifelong aversion to fascism and passionate commitment to cooperative communities, from being active in unions to belonging to a Finnish food coop as a youth. And it was as a youth that he went to Spain to fight for the freedom of the Spanish people.
