Juan Salas, a scholar of Spanish Civil War film and photography, shared with me this extraordinary image of a one peseta postage stamp issued by the Spanish Republic in 1937 to celebrate Spain/US relations, on the occasion of the 150 anniversary of the US Constitution.

    This stamp is worth up to $40 USD in perfect condition today. I have one as well.
