Between Rod Younger’s annoyance with the disappearance of physical book stores offering a wide selection of books on specific subjects and his burning passion for Spain, the creation of Books4Spain seemed inevitable. Forging partnerships with Cervantes Institute and the cultural department of the Spanish government, Younger has created a haven for those who have even the slightest interest in literature about Spain.
Aside from contemporary fiction, culture, travel and crime, there are historical works aplenty on specialist subjects such as the Alhambra, Inquisition, Peninsular and Spanish Civil Wars and as many as 70 books on flamenco. There are also sports titles including those about Real Madrid and tennis phenomenon, Rafa Nadal.
