Basque refugee children from Bilbao crowd the deck of the SS Habana

BBC Mundo released a short video interviewing three of the Basque children who were sent to England 75 years ago.

On 21 May 1937, nearly 4,000 children from the Basque country, in northern Spain, left the port of Santurce, near Bilbao, as refugees headed for Southampton. Some of them told to BBC Mundo about their experience 75 years later.
